Body Genius Question #2:

Having found out that you are able to bring together tissues that have been cut apart and heal that part of your body, I get curious about what other miraculous things you are capable of.

Body Genius question #1

Having found out that you can keep your heart beating 24/7 without giving it a second thought, I get curious about what other amazing things you are capable of.
THe color of the leaves is an uncovering of something that was akways there.
I had a vision. I was looking up at myself from the depths of a great gaping chasm. I realize it is a wound in Mother Earth, screaming out to be healed. The task is overwhelming, but then I see the wound from above and realize that it is made up of many smaller wounds. I see that if I follow my heart and attend to my own wounds, the great gaping wound can be healed. I had the vision at 3:00am. It is now 1:57am.

Laws do not change what we are.
Happiness is not something we achieve, but something we practice.
The absence of change is a spiritual death, that exists only in our human imagination.

There are tribes who follow the old ways, who very rarely contract insect born diseases. These people carry water miles from it's source, to their camps. "What a burden for those who carry the water," you say? The water bearers bathe, and drink their fill at the river's edge, before carrying the water spirit gift back to their families, where it is shared sparingly. There is always balance.

Before we adopt a practice intended to make life easier, we must carefully consider the cost to our human spirit.

Thursday, June 24, 2010

We must steal ourselves for the wails of pain that must be heard for us to move forward.

Tuesday, June 22, 2010

When our children disrespect us, we must pay close attention, for their disrespect is masking disappointment that springs from a purely held knowing of what we can achieve.
