As we get closer to 24 hours since the bombing, I start to ponder. Since the agenda of the media is to keep me watching, not necessarily to be of service, I begin to wonder whether the constant stream of news is helping me be in what is, or getting me stuck in what was. As I begin to take in the tragic loss of life and suffering of those who were caught in the path of the explosion, I want to make sure I am not forgetting to pay attention to the loss and struggle of those right round me.
